Authorized Gas Testing Training Course

Develop the knowledge required to support safe atmospheric testing during upstream oil and gas and drilling-rig operations. This intermediate-level course covers atmospheric hazards, gas-detector selection and readiness, representative sampling, confined-space and hot-work testing, H₂S awareness, permit-linked recording, communication and stop-work decisions.

The course supports competency development but does not independently authorize a learner to act as an Authorized Gas Tester. Practical assessment, employer or client approval and formal site authorization remain required.
